Cumbersome, but phenomenally durable, these panels are generally bought in large numbers to be connected (in series) for large scale domestic and commercial use in urban areas. Similar to the 175 Watt module, they have dome-shaped lenses, leading to the same benefits. In addition they have the ability to withstand all types of extreme environmental conditions, due to a design which focuses on high mechanical strength. Finally, these panels are designed to operate very effectively even in low-light surroundings, and have a very high-resistance to both water and extreme temperature swings.

These are usually applied to powering the following; entire office buildings, hotels, power  air-conditioners, cathodic protection (essential for heavy-duty batteries,)  domestic cooking appliances, machinery in manufacturing and power-generating plants, a variety of high voltage stand-alone systems, stadiums, arenas, high-tech telecommunications equipment, irrigation and other commercial farming. Usually the batteries it charges are 24 volts, or multiples of 24volts, so it’s paramount to install and operate these in conjunction with charge controllers and inverters of a high standard.

Due to the large area they cover, they are normally mounted with top-of pole mounting off the ground, than mounted on rooftops.
